So you're probably itching to know what I'm up to suddenly thinking about losing weight fast. It all started because last week I visited a friend's place where I had to climb a flight of stairs, and was a very intense experience. By the time I got myself up to the top, I was perspiring, huffing and puffing, my face was red, and I felt terrible. I excused myself and went into the bathroom to splash some cool water on my cheeks, and looked up into the mirror, and then it hit me: I have to lose weight. Fast.
On some level, I feel like I'm becoming my father. He was an enormously fat man, with a wonderful sense of humor and a strong, family focused approach to life. But I tell you, he was large. And lately I'm growing fat also. Now don't misunderstand, I love my pops, but I really would like to keep myself from reaching 250 pounds. Because once you reach a weight like that, there's hardly any going back.
So I've been researching how to lose weight fat. My wife is going to go on a diet with me, telling me that she wants to lose some weight also, which will no doubt make it a lot easier to stay with whichever diet program we decide on. There's an almost unmanageable quantity of opinions on weight loss out there.
I'll keep you guys apprised of how well the weight loss plan goes for us. I realize losing weight isn't going to be easy, but it's now or never as far as I can see, so I am going to really be trying hard to understand how to lose weight fast.
